MORAKNIV BREAD KNIFE CLASSIC 1891
Serving a chunky sourdough loaf on a rustic, wooden cutting board with a beautiful bread knife alongside it makes any kitchen table look inviting. Our bread knife can slice both smaller rolls and the crispiest crust on larger loaves. In addition to all kinds of bread, this knife is also super for cutting steaks and chopping vegetables.

Our Bread knife has a blade length of 24 cm and is ergonomically designed to avoid your knuckles from hitting the cutting board. The blade has a centered serrated edge with a radius designed so that it will crumble less when cutting through the bread.
We use Swedish stainless steel according to 14C28N. The steel is heat treated to 58 HRC according to our SGM® (Steel Grade Mora) standard that gives each knife the optimal combination of features for its intended use. The serrated blade has a tapered profile typical for all Morakniv knives. Together with the rounded tip of the blade, this makes the knife harmonious, balanced and safe to use. The blade is polished following the classical food processing tradition, where a polished blade is a requirement in the regulations for hygiene standards.
The handle is made of red stained Swedish birch wood and has a well-designed barrel shape. That detail was inspired by our most classic knives, even though the shape has of course been adapted for use in the kitchen. We do everything to create more ergonomic knives with a steadier grip, which leads to a more enjoyable cooking experience.
